Hailing originally from the United Kingdom, Andrew Harris started his career in hospitality, training first as a chef to eventually managing and creating boutique hotels in many parts of the country, including London. This nurtured his holistic perception of luxury, and what people seek from elevated experiences – from dining and culture to design and lifestyle – informing his understanding of luxury residential real estate today.
Andrew is now a proud member of the Field Team at Sotheby’s International Realty as Luxury and New Development Director. He previously served as the director of new development with a top-tier Manhattan-based firm for over two decades, overseeing the design and development of laudable New York City properties such as 212 Fifth Avenue and 10 Sullivan Street. He played a key role in every phase of the development process orchestrating the vision from the first site visit, from design and construction to completion and sales. His deep understanding of the most coveted neighborhoods and the intricacies of a property are anchored by his knowledge in the art of architecture and interior design, which uniquely positions Andrew to expertly advise his clients on quality real estate investments.
