John Gavin Feller is a licensed New York State real estate salesperson and a member of The Field Team, one of Sotheby's International Realty's top-producing teams in New York City. A native New Yorker with deep roots in both Manhattan and the Hamptons, Gavin brings strong local knowledge, an extensive personal network, and a genuine passion for luxury residential real estate. He attended Collegiate School in Manhattan and graduated from The Taft School in Connecticut.
Gavin earned an MA (Hons) in Management and Spanish from the University of St Andrews in Scotland and studied at the Universidad de Montevideo in Uruguay, where he completed his coursework entirely in Spanish. Fully bilingual, he brings an international perspective well suited to New York's increasingly global luxury market. Before joining The Field Team, Gavin gained hands-on brokerage experience at Saunders & Associates' Bridgehampton and Southampton offices, hosting open houses, conducting showings, developing marketing materials, and helping close a transaction with Spanish-speaking clients. He also holds the Urban Land Institute's Foundations of Real Estate certificate.
Having grown up between New York City and the Hamptons, Gavin has an insider's understanding of the neighborhoods and communities that define both markets, along with the relationships that come with them. Known for his energy, initiative, warmth, and ability to connect naturally with people, he is committed to representing buyers and sellers with discretion, responsiveness, and a long-term perspective. Outside of real estate, Gavin is an avid traveler with interests in music, technology, and global affairs.
